CEVG Investments
Clean Energy Venture Group invests in early stage clean energy companies located in the Northeast United States. Initial investments typically range between $100K and $500K. We look to invest in companies that meet the following criteria:
Investment Process
Our investment process is straightforward. Our due diligence focuses on the management team, the market, the technology, the protection of intellectual property (if present) and how well we can work together with the team. Importantly, our goal is to make investment decisions within 4-8 weeks of first contact with the company, as we recognize the importance of time when building new companies.
Post-investment, we work closely with the company to develop the business strategy, secure additional financing, introduce the company to new customers, and otherwise assist in executing the business. While a Board seat is not a prerequisite to investment, we strongly prefer to have a role in the governance of the organization.
